Samsung Note 10 series Launched in India

The world’s biggest smartphone maker, Samsung has pushed its annual Galaxy Note upgrade. Samsung announced the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ during the Galaxy Note event that was held in Samsung Opera House, Bangalore. This is the first time that Samsung has introduced different models of its flagship Galaxy Note smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ share a lot of similar specs, the Note10 and Note10+ will have the new Exynos 9825 processor. This is an upgraded version of the processor found in the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 Plus. The Note 10 devices come with minimum 8GB RAM and maximum of 12GB RAM. The storage options are from 256GB to 512GB.

Both the Note10 and Note10+ has three rear cameras. The primary camera uses a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Then there is a telephoto lens camera with a variable f/1.5-f/2.4 aperture with a 12-megapixel sensor. And finally, there is an ultra-wide lens camera with an aperture of f2.1 and a 12-megapixel sensor. While the main camera setup is the same, the Note10+ has an additional VGA rear camera that uses ToF technology. On the front, both the phones have a 10-megapixel sensor inside a punch-hole. 

There are several key differences between the Note10 and Note10+. One is the screen size. The Galaxy Note10 sports a 2280×1080 pixels 401ppi display while the one of the bigger Galaxy Note10+ is a 498ppi 3040×1440 pixels resolution display. Both are Dynamic AMOLED panels with support for HDR10+ and dynamic tone mapping. The battery size is different, the Note10 has a 3500mAh battery while the Note10+ comes with a 4300mAh battery. Another difference is that the Note10+ supports microSD card, while the Note 10 doesn’t. Finally, Samsung has done what we were fearing, the Note 10 devices finally come without 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+ will be available in Aura Glow, Aura White, Aura Pink, Aura Red and Aura Black starting from August 23rd. The Galaxy Note10+ got an exclusive new colour – Aura Blue.

The Samsung Galaxy Note10 & Galaxy Note10 Plus will be available at a starting price of ₹69999 and ₹79999 respectively starting from August 23rd
