Oppo K3, company’s affordable smartphone with an on-screen fingerprint scanner and the pop-up display will kick off ist sale from July 23rd from 12:00 PM onwards. These smartphones are priced at Rs. 16,990 for 6GB+64GB variant and Rs. 19,990 for 8GB+128GB variant. It will be available in Aura Blue and Jade Black.
OPPO K3 comes with a dual rear camera setup – 16-megapixel sensor along with 2-megapixel depth sensor. It also has a pop-up selfie snapper of 16-megapixel. OPPO has added a number of special features to the camera sections apart from the dual-LED flash. Those include Ultra Clear Night View 2.0, multi-frame noise reduction, handheld night scene mode, AI intelligent scene recognition and AI portrait mode.
Talking about specs, the OPPO K3 features a 6.5-inch super AMOLED display with 2340×1080 pixel resolution and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and it is embedded with an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core chipset and the Adreno 616 GPU offers graphics support. The RAM support comes in two variants, an 8GB LPDDR4X RAM at the higher end and 6GB RAM at the lower end. The corresponding onboard storage levels will be 128GB and 64GB respectively. There is a microSD card slot on the device for expanding the storage capacity. The smartphone runs on ColorOS 6.0 based on latest Android 9 Pie operating system. All of this run by 3,765 mAh battery with USB Type-C interface powered by VOOC Flash Charge 3.0 along with a new charging algorithm which offers a 25% reduction in charging time.
The 3.5mm jack is included in the design. Dual-SIM 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio port are the connectivity features of the OPPO K3.
