Huawei Watch 2 was first introduced previously in the Mobile World Congress this year in February. This latest Watch has been finally launched by the company on Wednesday in India. Huawei Watch 2 comes in three different variants, Sports (4G), Sports (Bluetooth), and Classic (Bluetooth). Although, only the Black color option is available as of now in India. Sports (4G) is priced at 20,999 INR, Classic (Bluetooth) at 25,999 INR, and Sports (4G) at 29,999 INR in India.
Huawei Watch 2 Specifications
The Huawei Watch 2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and runs on Android Wear 2.0 platform. As per the company’s statement in the release, the Watch 2 variant comes with 4G support and enables the users for sending messages or making calls without even using a smartphone. Huawei also said during the press release, “It also features the latest smart living applications and the new Android Wear 2.0 operating system (OS) which is compatible with both Android and iOS, enabling the Huawei Watch 2 to embody the spirit of openness and exploration for all.” Not only 4G connectivity support, this Huawei watch also sports a lot of sensors which further makes this wearable gather data from the activity of the user like distance, speed, steps, calories, gait, route, heart rate, heart rate range and much more.
Huawei Watch 2 Features
This smartwatch features a heart rate detection system and also comes with a built-in GPS. Along with this, the specifications also include intelligent speech recognition, voice instructions as well as touch control. According to what Huawei said in the release, “The battery is smarter too thanks to an optimised battery with greater density and longer life. The battery lasts for two days with regular use, up to 10 hours in ‘training mode’ and up to three weeks in ‘watch mode’.” Huawei Watch 2 Sports (Bluetooth) Edition is exclusively available on Amazon India. However, the Sports (4G) and Classic (Bluetooth) Editions will be available in the offline retail stores as well all around India. According to the company, they will be announcing the additional interchangeable color bands for the Huawei Watch 2 later this year.
