Huawei has launched a new tablet for the Indian market. The Huawei MediaPad T5 has been launched at a price of Rs. 14,990 for the 2GB + 16 GB storage variant. It is a mid-range tablet which is aimed at buyers who want to have a tablet experience without having to spend a lot of money.
The MediaPad T5 comes with a 10.1-inch screen that has a 1980×1200 screen resolution and an aspect ratio of 16:10. This enables the users to have a good multimedia experience especially for viewing movies and video content whenever and wherever they want.
Under the hood, the MediaPad T5 is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 659 Soc. The processor is not that great when it comes for avid users who like to push limits but will allow you to do most of the usual tasks without any hiccups. You also get the company’s EMUI 8.0 on top. Powering the MediaPad T5 is a massive 5100mAh battery which would last long enough for those heavy multimedia consumers.
The tablet comes with a 5-megapixel camera at the back and a 2-Megapixel front-facing camera which has a fixed focus. The company has listed the tablet on its Indian website and is currently is the only tablet offering for India. It is expected to be on sale from July 10th. The 2 GB + 16 GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 14,990 while the higher 3GB + 32 GB storage variant has been priced at Rs. 16,990 and will be available in only one colour.
