Fastrack launches smart wearable “Reflex” in India

Fastrack has entered into the smart wearable segment with a launch of Reflex in India on Monday. Fastrack Reflex is a smart wearable that can keep track of the activity along with the incoming calls, notifications and texts. The Reflex can track various activity including calories burnt, sleep pattern and total steps. It can store exercise data for up to 15 days.

The Reflex band uses Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy for connectivity and it is compatible with Android and iOS devices. The Fastrack Reflex boasts 7 days of battery life on a single charge and it can be fully charged within 60 minutes. Fastrack Reflex can be charged via USB adapter or from laptop USB port. The Fasttrack Reflex Band is water-resistant, but that doesn’t mean you can go dunking it in the bath or taking it for a swim. The company is promising regular software update to constantly improve customers experience.

Sharing his thoughts on the launch, Ayushman Chiranewala, Head of Marketing, Fastrack explains “With the development of sensors, smartwatches and fitness trackers, we wanted to bring a wearable device for the youth that helps them get healthier by capturing their body data and motivating them to reach their fitness goals. With Reflex, Fastrack aims to cater to the needs of multi-faceted, new-age millennial who desire the next step in the combination of quirky design and smart features.”

Speaking at the launch, Somprabh Singh, Head of Design and Technology mentioned “The Fastrack Reflex band was created with the youth in mind- to give them a seamless experience with our introduction into the wearable technology category. Based on insights derived, we have designed the product to cater to the needs of the today’s youth- a fashionable product that has a great battery life, can be charged easily and a price point that is relevant to the segment. Retailing at Rs. 1995, the Fastrack Reflex has a 14day battery life and does not require an external charger as the product itself acts as a USB and charges within 60minutes. The product will have regular software updates that will help enhance the overall consumer experience. This is Fastrack’s first launch in this category and we look forward to creating many interesting products moving forward.”

The Reflex can be purchased for Rs 1,995 from Fastrack showroom. Fastrack Reflex is available in three color variants; chic purple, distinctive black and dazzling blue.
