The 55-inch CloudWalker Cloud X2 is the first 4K ready on full HD resolution smart LED TV. The new TV got some attractive tricks up its sleeve – an ultra-slim design and capable of playing 4K content. The thin glossy black bezel is made of plastic that enclosed perfectly with the 55-inch LED panel. The stand is simple with sturdy parts. It took technician 10 minutes to assemble it. The box does include wall-mounting equipment if you prefer your TV up on a wall. The middle & lower portion hides internal components in a bulge that also packs three HDMI Ports. It has a 3.5mm plug which can receive a composite signal and stereo audio through an included adapter. Two USB ports allow for content to be viewed from a flash drive. You also get a LAN input and a built-in 802.11ac WiFi. Bluetooth support is included for things like keyboards and control apps.
The CloudWalker Cloud TV X2 is powered by a Quad-core ARM Cortex processor driving a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) LED panel. The processor is powerful enough to play 4K content on the display without any lag. The smart TV has 1GB of RAM that provides smooth multitasking between apps. It has a built-in 8GB of internal memory to store and install your favourite apps from Android PlayStore. Instead of Android TV, the X2 runs on Android Nougat based operating system looks similar to Android TV user Interface. CloudWalker Cloud TV X2 also comes with Content Delivery Engine that curates trending digital content and apps based on your consumption. Streaming content from your smartphone is easy — just install the Cshare app on the smartphone. Once the app is installed, it lets you stream content to the TV and even offers a remote-control interface on your phone. It also comes with Air mouse to make navigation much easier. We played a variety of content to properly test the CloudWalker Cloud TV X2. This included a 1080p and a 4K content played through the USB. We also ran a few YouTube videos at different resolutions to see how performance was while streaming media over the Internet. Picture quality was satisfactory and we faced no motion issue, thanks to the 60Hz panel.
On the audio front, the X2 comes with stereo speakers of 20 watts each. The performance of the speakers is satisfactory as it delivers some good level of audio. The sound is loud enough for a large room, which is a welcome move. But, the speaker lacks bass and we definitely recommend an external speaker for the TV.
Overall, the CloudWalker 55-inch smart TV is impressive but lacks some features that its competitors are offering. At roughly the same price, you can also get Mi TV 4K smart TV and more premium looking design.
