The Apple’s new iPhone 11 and 11 Pro series have been launched. The iPhone 11 brings flagship-caliber dual-cameras and Apple’s new A13 Bionic chipset to a very reasonable starting price of $699, while the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max add a third lens and a much longer-lasting battery than the iPhone XS, among other things. All of this happened at the Steve Jobs Auditorium among the Press and Partners. The new devices are upgrades to last year’s iPhone Xs, which marked the 12th generation of the iPhone.
APPLE IPHONE 11 Pro
The iPhone 11 Pro comes in a stainless steel body with glass back just like last year’s model. The smartphone is equipped with Apple’s new upgraded A13 Bionic chipset. According to Apple, the A13 Bionic is the most powerful processor available on a smartphone. The iPhone 11 Pro comes with new triple camera setup. It has a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, 12-megapixel lens with an f/1.8 aperture and 12-megapixel wide-angle lens. The front-facing camera on the iPhone 11 is a 12-megapixel lens with a TOF 3D camera. With the help of the A13 Bionic chipset and the added IR sensors in the notch, the iPhone 11 Pro is able to take bokeh shots and adjust the depth of field even after taking a picture.
The display on the iPhone 11 Pro is a 5.8-inch OLED display and stretches edge-to-edge just like last year’s model. The notch at the top consists of the same IR sensors and dot projectors which help in utilising the FaceID lock. The resolution on the iPhone 11 Pro is 2436×1125 pixels, which Apple now calls as Super Retina. The smartphone is available in Gold, Silver, Space Grey and a new colours Green. The price of the phone starts at a price of $999. The smartphone runs on iOS 13, the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system.
APPLE IPHONE 11 PRO MAX
The iPhone 11 Pro Max is the bigger flagship variant of the iPhone 11 Pro. It has a 6.5-inch Super Retina Display with a resolution of 2688×1242 pixels. It carries the same notch at the top with the IR sensors and dot projectors. Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has the same design aesthetics as the iPhone 11 Pro. It has a stainless steel casing that is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance. Running at the heart of the device is the latest A13 Bionic chipset with 8 cores with AI processing. The iPhone 11 Pro Max has the same 12-megapixel triple camera setup as the regular iPhone 11 Pro. It has a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture, 12-megapixel lens with an f/1.8 aperture and 12-megapixel wide-angle lens. The front-facing camera on the iPhone 11 is a 12-megapixel lens with a TOF 3D camera.
The iPhone 11 Pro Max starts at $1199 and is available in Gold, Silver, Green and Space Grey colours. The iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available for pre-order from 13th September and will finally go on sale on 20th September.
APPLE IPHONE 11
The iPhone 11 is the budget model of the iPhone line and it comes with a 6.1-inch LCD Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 1792×828 pixels. The smartphone comes with Apple’s latest A13 Bionic chipset just like the flagship iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.
In terms of camera specifications, the iPhone 11 has a dual 12-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture and f/2.4 aperture respectively. The new chipset helps to adjust the bokeh effect even after the picture is taken. The iPhone 11 does not include 3D Touch and the smartphone gives to haptic feedback to invoke the 3D Touch menu. Other features also include an IR sensor and dot projector in the notch.
Starting at a price of $699, the iPhone 11 is available in Black, White, yellow and Red. It is also available in new colour – Green. It is up for pre-order from September 13th and sales will begin on September 20.
Apple Watch Series 5
The new Apple Watch Series 5 features a new always-on display that can drop as low as 1Hz refresh to save power, compass and optimized faces. When it comes to emergency calls, Apple is extending emergency calling to 150 countries. When you press and hold down the side button, it automatically calls local emergency services.
With fancy new bands and faces! GPS models will start at $399 and $499 for cellular models. Series 3 stays in the line, but the price has dropped to a start of $199.
Apple also announced three new health research studies with health facilities. Apple is starting a hearing study with the World Health Organization and the University of Michigan, a women’s health study with NIH and Harvard thanks to the new cycle tracking feature, heart and movement study with the American Heart Association, Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
