Xiaomi showcases their latest offering at the event held in New Delhi. They unveiled three new products including the successor of Redmi Note 5. Even the newest smartphone from Xiaomi offers a bezel-less design with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and a large 5.99-inch display. Along with the smartphones, Xiaomi also showcased the most anticipated product by Mi fans i.e Mi TV 4.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5
The Redmi note 5 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, and there are two variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. One of the major changes was the bezel-less display of 5.99-inch FHD+ display. The Redmi Note 5 has a 4000mAh battery and it is half millimetre thinner than the last year’s model. It runs MIUI 9.0 based on Android 7.1 operating system. The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant will cost Rs. 9,999 and 4GB + 64GB will cost Rs. 11,999.
Mi Redmi Note 5 Pro
The Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, and there are two variants – 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. It includes 64GB of internal memory with an expandable option via. micro SD card slot. The Redmi Note 5 Pro draws power from a 4000mAh battery. The display sports 5.99-inch FHD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio making it near bezel-less design. Redmi Note 5 Pro will cost Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB variant, while the 6GB RAM and 64GB variant are priced at Rs 16,999.
The primary camera on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is a 12-megapixel+5-megapixel dual camera setup, whereas the selfie camera is a 20MP shooter with a soft selfie light.
Mi LED TV(55”)
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 was also unveiled at the event, India is one of the first market to get the Xiaomi TV outside the China. The price has been set as Rs. 39,999 for a 55-inch Mi TV. The Mi TV 4 in India sport a 55-inch 4K display (3840×2160 pixel) display, and sport a frameless design. Mi TV 4 models feature LG 4K display panels. It comes with Amlogic 64 bit Quad-core CPU clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with the Mali-T830 image processor. At the back, Mi TV 4 has 3 HDMI ports (including 1 ARC port) and 2 USB ports (3.0+2.0) as well as an Ethernet port along with Dual-Band WiFi, and Bluetooth 4.0. Xiaomi has also added PatchWall to the Mi TV 4. The included PatchWall, a UI layer on top of the Android operating system. Buyers will get free IR cable and subscription to Hungama Play and Sony Liv for three months along with installation from the company on purchasing the Mi TV 4 within 3 months of release. It will go on sale via Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and Flipkart starting February 22.
