We have received the confirmation regarding WhatsApp’s availability for Business through the app’s FAQ page. This feature can be ardently used by businesses to keep the users well informed about their services, such as hotel bookings, delay in flights, cancellations, etc.
Whatsapp: More Details
The initial declaration of WhatsApp for Business service was not confirmed by the platform’s FAQ page. WABetaInfo, the unswerving tipster successfully leaked that the business users will be taking the advantage of WhatsApp through this service. WABetaInfo also revealed that the WhatsApp for Business will inflict some serious restrictions, such as not permitting to change the name, the compulsion of mentioning a website and e-mail address in their profile, and so on, for the business users. In addition, sufficient controls will also be made available to prevent spamming by the business users.
Rumors also have it that the verified business accounts will have a green symbol next to the contact’s name on WhatsApp. The entire verification program will not be restricted to only those businesses that have been part of the pilot program. All this has been marked on a beta version of the app. After an update takes place, the businesses will be able to set the working hours. They can do so by leaving an Away, message whenever they are not available. Like this, all the messages will be managed automatically. Reports also revealed that the business accounts that have several websites will sport a ‘Show More’ button. This button will show all the details about the business, such as the category and working hours.
