Vivo on Thursday, 21 September 2017, unveiled Vivo X20, X20 Plus smartphones in China. It appears like the latest devices come well-equipped with some of the most in-demand features currently in the market. The Vivo X20 and X20 Plus smartphones sport Full View displays with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It also has a dual camera setup at the back. You can remarkably distinguish between the two variants by taking a look at the screen size. Even the battery capacity highly varies between the two. The Vivo X20 costs CNY 2,998, which approximately sums into 29,600 INR. On the other hand, the X20 Plus is priced at CNY 3,498, which roughly amounts to 34,500 INR. Both the smartphones will be made available for pre-orders from Monday, September 25, 2017. They will be bought from September 30, 2017.

Vivo X20, X20 Plus: Specs and Features

The rear dual camera setups on both the devices, X20 and X20 Plus, have a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor. The front of the device sports a 12-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 for selfies. It comes equipped with the company’s Full View Super AMOLED displays. The device has a full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution with a taller-than-usual aspect ratio. However, the display size on the X20 is 6.01-inch and 6.43-inch, respectively. The X20 is powered by a 3245mAh battery. The Plus device, however, is packed with a larger size of 3905mAh battery.

The Vivo X20, X20 Plus have dual-SIM card slots that run FunTouch OS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. Both the devices run on an octa-core Snapdragon 660 SoC. Here, four cores are clocked at 2.2GHz, and the remaining four are clocked at 1.8GHz. They have 4GB of RAM. The latest mobiles come with 64GB of built-in storage. This storage can further be expanded via microSD card for up to 256GB.

The X20 measures 155.85×75.15×7.2mm; and the X20 Plus measures 165.32×80.09×7.45mm.  X20 weighs 159 grams, whereas X20 Plus weighs 181.5 grams. The connectivity options in Vivo X20, X20 Plus include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0, OTG, and GPS. Both come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Vivo X20 and X20 Plus are unveiled in Matte Black, Rose Gold, and Gold color variants.
