Samsung Cuts Prices; S8+,Galaxy A6, Galaxy J8 Cheaper

Samsung has decided to cut the prices of various models in order to strengthen its presence in the smartphone market. The new prices are not implemented all across the country but they are available at some of the offline retailers. Mahesh Telecom reported about the price cut on Twitter.

According to the new price, the Galaxy S8+ ( 64GB ) will be priced at Rs 39,990. Though the official website still shows Rs 51,990 as the official price. Other devices which have faced a price cut are Galaxy A6/A6+, Galaxy J8 (2018). The new price is updated on the official India website as well as the e-commerce website, Flipkart.

Samsung Galaxy S8+


The Galaxy 8+ is still listed on the official e-store at Rs 51,990. You can get an additional Rs 4,000 price off if the device is exchanged against some models. Those with an HDFC Bank Credit cards can avail a cashback of Rs 4000. This offers collectively reduce the price of the Galaxy S8+ to Rs 43,990. But from now onwards the device will now be available at Rs 39,990 for the 64GB version is some of the offline retail stores.

Samsung Galaxy A6+


Talking about the Galaxy A6+ which was launched at Rs 25,990 is now listed at the price of Rs 21,990 on Amazon India. The Official Website does not show the Galaxy A6+ anymore. The Galaxy A6+ has a dual-rear camera at the back, 3500 mAh battery and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor.

The Galaxy A6 was originally launched Rs 22,990, but now it will be available for Rs 16,990, for the 64GB version. Whereas Galaxy A6 with 32GB storage was launched at the price of Rs 21,990. but with the price cut, it will be available for Rs 15,490. The new prices are mentioned on the official website.

Samsung Galaxy J8 (2018)

Samsung J8

The newly launched the Galaxy J8 was originally priced at Rs 18,990. According to the new price, it will be available at Rs 17,990. The J8 runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor which is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It comes with a combination of 16MP+5MP dual cameras and a 16MP front camera. The J8 has a 3,500mAh battery and 6-inch HD+ resolution display.
