Just three months ago, Realme had announced its U1 smartphone which was launched in November 2018. The U1 is still out in the market for Rs. 13,500 for the 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage variant. Today, they are going to launch the Realme 3 and it will compete against the likes of Honor 8C, Samsung M20, and Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7.
The Realme 3 has a 6.22-inch water drop display screen with a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels, along with that at the front it houses a front-facing camera of 13MP with f/2.0 aperture within the water drop design. Realme 3’s rear camera has a dual camera setup of 13MP for the primary camera + 2MP for the secondary camera with f/1.8 aperture. It has a blueish tint at the bottom where the Realme’s signature logo is situated along with a black coloured back. Its design definitely looks classy!
Realme 3 is powered by a 2.1GHz MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core processor and a Mali G72 GPU and should be enough to play PUBG mobile at balanced settings without experiencing any frame drops. To handle background running apps smoothly without any lag, they have two variants on offer. You can choose between the 3GB/32GB variant or the 4GB/64GB variant. If your usage is on the higher side, then we recommend the 4GB variant. The main highlight of the Realme 3 is its battery, yes, Realme 3 offers a 4230mAh battery along with a fast charger but misses out on type-C cable. We really hoped they’d provide the type-C cable with the Realme 3.
So far it has healthy competition in the market with Xiamoi’s Redmi Note 7 being its major competition. Stay tuned to thetechy.com for a detailed comparison video on them.
