Rahul is the General Manager for Marketing Communication for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles – an Italian-controlled multinational corporation and world’s seventh largest auto maker. He started his career as a sales executive for a Liquor Brand during the tenure of which he sold popular brands like Royal Challenge, Antiquity & Haywards. Prior to joining Fiat Chrysler, he was associated with companies like UB Group, Philip Morris, Reliance Entertainment and Volkswagen.
His vision for the future pictures Connected / Smart cars taking the main stage and becoming the next big thing and so would the dominance and influence of Digital media, he believes. Was he to start his own startup venture and become an entrepreneur, he would work on building around recycling and making the best out of waste. In his free time, Rahul likes to go on long drives, travel as much as he can and indulge in music. The first gadget he owned was the Ipod that helped him enjoy good music with great sound quality on the go. He is not an avid reader of books, but he likes to read blogs and articles on marketing & consumer insights every time he finds some downtime.
