In order to match up with companies like Xiaomi and Sharp, Panasonic has now rolled out the Panasonic Eluga C. The device sports a bezel-less display and also offers dual camera setup. The brand new mobile has been launched in Taiwan. It is priced at TWD 6,000 (approximately 12,900 INR). The device is available for preorders.
Panasonic Eluga C: Specs and Features
The Panasonic Eluga C features a 5.5-inch display that has ultra-thin bezels. It comes with an HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution. Remarkably, even with such a minimal bezel-design, the display doesn’t support an aspect ratio of 18:9. This is pretty common nowadays for almost all the full-screen devices. The display panel does offer 450 nits of brightness. Consequently, this would help in making the on-screen content visible even in bright sunlight. The mobile functions on octa-core MediaTek MT6750T SoC. It is clocked at 1.5GHz and paired with 4GB of RAM.
The device includes 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel camera sensor at the back panel. They both have f/2.2 lenses on top. On the front, the smartphone has an 8-megapixel camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens. The handset uses a fingerprint scanner to unlock the screen in a span of just 0.3 seconds. It can also record up to five fingerprints.
It allows 64GB of internal storage. You can expand it using is microSD card up to 256GB.
The mobile runs at 3000mAh battery. It also provides 7.5W charger. Apart from this, it also offers a 5.1mm slim metal frame, which has a glass finish on the back side.
By launching Eluga C, Panasonic has apparently entered the recent market space of thin-bezel mobile. The device doesn’t cost as much as Samsung Galaxy S8 or the Apple iPhone X. The device doesn’t fall under the mid-range segment created by the OnePlus 5T either. Nonetheless, the design of Panasonic Eluga C brings us to the advanced Xiaomi Mi Mix and Sharp Aquos Crystal.
