Optoma ML330 Projector
Price: Rs 38,490
The ML330 is a compact and lightweight projector that weighs just 460 grams excluding the power adapter. Also, it is easy to carry this projector as it comes with an impressive carry bag. It can neatly hold the projector, remote, power brick, and other accessories. The bag is quite sturdy, which minimizes the possibility of damage during trips. On top are capacitive touch buttons with arrow keys for navigation along with home and menu key. The lens doesn’t have a protective cap, so it is exposed to dust and scratches.
The ML330 has 500 Lumens colour brightness and a 20,000:1 contrast ratio which is a good option for presentations and entertainment for small space. It is a DLP projector with a native resolution of 1280 x 800 pixel which is enough for the compact lightweight projector. You can project content from your mobile using wireless Miracast or you can project content from Desktop, Laptop or other devices with HDMI support using HDMI cable. It can also play content directly from a USB memory stick. The projector is based on the Android platform running the age-old KitKat version. You can still download apps from 3rd party app store as it lacks Google services. By default, you have an Episode app store to download Android apps on the projector. Another important feature is the lens shift, you can always tweak around the with these settings and get a crisp picture, getting a theatre-like feeling. The sound from the single 2-watt speaker is soft. You’ll have to sit close to hear it. It was much more audible when I listened through External speaker plugged into the 3.5mm audio jack.
Overall, the Optoma ML330 Projector is a joy to use. It is tiny, compact and the carrying bag makes it really easy to carry around. It is also easy to set up and everything just works. The graphics quality is fine, though it can be better.
