Sidharth limited edition phone

I reviewed the Oppo F5 Sidharth Malhotra Limited Edition and even though it wasn’t as dreamy as the short film they aired at the time of launch (I’m angry that Sidharth Malhotra didn’t show up in front of me at all) the fact still remains that the phone was a good gadget to have for the week I used it. So, here are my thoughts on this new “Blue” Oppo edition.

Rating: 4/5
Price: ₹ 19,990/-

Phone technicalities I was closely following:

Camera:

Coming to the phone’s most enhanced feature and selling point if I have to say, it’s the camera. The clarity of the front and back cameras both is other-worldly! It is also equipped with the “beauty” mode, the expert mode and time-lapse.

Display:

It’s almost bezel-less and that enhances the user experience because of the bigger display screen. The resolution is clear and brightness has a good range.

Interface:

As we all know, Oppo incorporates an interface very similar to that of an iPhone. It’s thus very simple to navigate, the icons are clean and easy to spot.

Design and Aesthetics:

Wouldn’t lie, the phone looks very attractive and its beautiful blue colour with glossy finish makes it very lucrative.

The phone comes with a Beautiful blue cover with inner suede lining that further protects the back from wear and tear. So with or without the cover both the phone wins on the aesthetic front.

Features:

The phone lets you use gestures to start the camera, music, locking-unlocking the phone and they’re fun to use just for the sake of amusement!

You can choose from the many quirky and pretty themes from the themes store and download for use. I tried the alien theme and it was pretty cool!

Turning on the reading mode at night for a book worm like me made it easy for my eyes to stare at the phone for longer than I should.

Productivity & Convenience:

Ask me if it’s efficient to use on a daily basis and I’ll say yes. The phone performs decently during multi-tasking.

On it’s own, the phone is pretty lightweight and the size is also reasonable. The cover might add a little bulk but it’s doable.

Verdict:

And lastly, the phone comes with Sidharth Malhotra’s pretty profile saved as the default lock screen wallpaper so if nothing, at least that keeps the user going 😉
