Oppo A71 With Android 7.1 Nougat Rolled Out in India

Last week, after a silent launch in two countries, Oppo A71 is now finally unveiled in India. The Oppo A71 costs 12,990 INR. It will be available to purchase via Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm, and other offline stores across the country. It will start on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. It comes in Gold and Black color editions.

The Oppo A71 has a dual SIM (Nano+Nano) card slot. It sports a metal unibody and 4G VoLTE calling technology. The device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat on the basis of ColorOS 3.1 custom skin. It is fueled by a 64-bit octa-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 SoC along with 3GB of RAM and Mali T860 GPU. The Oppo A71 features a 5.2-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) TFT display.

Oppo A71 Camera

The Oppo A71 has a 13-megapixel camera with 1/3.06-inch sensor size, LED flash, PDAF, and an f/2.2 aperture on the rear side. The smartphone sports a 5-megapixel front camera with an f/2.4 aperture for world-class selfies. The rear camera, according to the company, is equipped with “Multi-Frame Denoising technology, making for clearer pictures under low light conditions, with greater details and more realistic colours.” Although the smartphone doesn’t carry a dual camera setup, the company proclaims that the cameras provided in A71 can produce a Bokeh effect for portraits.

The A71 holds 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 256GB). The connectivity options provide 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB (with OTG). The sensors also offer accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and a proximity sensor. The device’s battery is powered by a 3000mAh battery, which supports a fast charging functionality. The measurement of Oppo is A71 148.1×73.8×7.6mm, and it weighs 137 grams.

“With A71 we aim to reach out to a greater and wider set of consumers and offer them a great camera experience. The A71 brings consumers premium photography and advanced features at an affordable price point,” said Sky Li, who is the President and Managing Director of International Mobile Business, Oppo.
