OnePlus has partnered with boutique fashion concept store collette, to launch a special edition black version of the OnePlus 3T. The smartphone has been dubbed as the “OnePlus 3T colette edition”.
The limited Colette edition of the OnePlus 3T has been announced to mark the 20th anniversary of the Colette. At the eve, OnePlus will host a pop-up shop at the Colette Store in Paris on Tuesday. The interesting bit about this version is that only 250 will be available to purchase exclusively at the one-day pop-up event. Try your luck, if interested.
Additionally, OnePlus has announced that consumers who will be able to get their hands on the new limited edition at Colette’s retail store in Paris on Tuesday will also get a free set of the Bullets V2 earphones with purchase.
OnePlus announced on Wednesday 16 th March about its limited edition OnePlus 3T in all-Black colour with Colette logo engraved at the back. The limited edition Colette-engraved OnePlus 3T (128GB) will be going on sale on 21 st March, Tuesday from 11am (GMT +1) at the Colette store in Paris, France. It has been priced at EUR 479 (roughly Rs. 33,500), and only 250 units will be made available for sale. The company was originally speculated to launch a Blue variant of the OnePlus 3T.
Announcing the limited Colette edition of the OnePlus 3T, OnePlus Founder and CEO Pete Lau said, “We’re introducing this striking black version of the OnePlus 3T with Colette, highlighting our focus on beautiful design and the strictest attention to detail. Our friends at Colette understand refinement and good taste better than anybody, so we're very proud to be partnering with them to offer this special edition of our flagship phone.”

For those unaware, OnePlus 3T is currently available in Gunmetal and Soft Gold colours. Talking about the specifications, the OnePlus 3T features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35GHz and paired with 6GB of RAM. Originally, there are two storage choices of 64GB and 128GB.
For photography, the OnePlus 3T sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX398 image sensor, f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Auto-focus (PDAF), Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), and 4K video recording capabilities. There is also a 16-megapixel fixed-focus selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording capabilities.
It is fuelled by a 3,400mAh battery with support for the company’s proprietary Dash Charge technology. There is also a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button up front, and an Alert Slider on the side. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS.
On the software front, the OnePlus 3T was shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS with a promised update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
