OKWU has launched its new smartphone Omicron in India. The smartphone was unveiled by a film actress Ms. Sagarika Ghatge. Late last year, OKWU launched its first smartphone named Pi. Omicron is the second smartphone by OKWU that features fastest fingerprint sensor with an unlock time of 0.1 seconds. Mr. Anshuman Atul, CEO and Managing Director of OKWU and Mr. Arjun Gupta, COO and Co-Managing Director, OKWU were present during the launch ceremony.
OKWU Omicron features 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with a pixel density of 480ppi. The body is fully CNC made metal frame. The phone is powered by 1.5GHz MediaTek 6737T quad-core processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32Gb internal memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB. The device runs Android marshmallow 6.0.1 operating system and a battery capacity of 3000 mAh. The device supports Dual SIM with 4G VoLTE. Omicron owns 13-megapixels rear camera with PDAF technology and 5-megapixel front camera for a selfie.
