Seems like the Finnish company, HMD is keen on keeping Nokia smartphone the talk of the town. According to the recent reports, Nokia 9 which will be HMD Global’s first PureView-branded Nokia phone, will have Penta-camera setup. The company was supposed to make an announcement at MWC 2019 next year but the company intends to do it earlier.
The Nokia 9 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, with 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. But according to a recent leak by the popular Twitter tipster OnLeaks in collaboration with 91Mobiles, the Nokia 9 will cram together five camera lens in a circular arrangement along with the LED flash. The handset does not have a fingerprint sensor which indicates that the device might have an onscreen fingerprint sensor just like the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and OnePlus 6T.
The Nokia 9 will run Android 9 Pie out of the box with a stock interface packed together with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 under the bonnet with at least 6GB of RAM. The device further packs 4,150mAh battery. The device includes a 5.9-inch display with QHD resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio paired with narrow bezels. Nokia seems to break to tradition by ditching the notch on the display and the fingerprint sensor on the back. The device could also have the Face Unlock Feature. The Nokia 9 has water and dust resistant capabilities. Like the recent Nokia models, by HMD the Nokia 9 will also have a glass panel on the back.
The launch of Nokia 9 with five cameras on the back, will triumph the quad-camera Samsung Galaxy A9. But we wonder what will the purpose of the five cameras on the back. The utility of the Penta-camera setup will definitely set the device on the list of the innovative devices or will it backlash?
