At first glance, the design and feel of the device is completely different. Due to its compact size, the device is manageable for single hand use. The Nokia 6.1 Plus has an aluminium frame for rigidity along with glass on the back. Structurally, the smartphone is pretty light and easy to hold. The fingerprint sensor and controls like volume and power keys are within reach even for someone with a medium-sized hand like mine. Overall, the whole package looks good and feel premium to hold. Though it has a glass body, the phone is not really slippery to hold which helps in keeping the grip firm. For audio, the Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with the same bottom firing speaker, and it is loud enough to watch movies in a quiet room. Also, it does come with a headphone jack.

In Nokia’s attempt to reduce the bezels on the Nokia 6.1 Plus, a notch had to be incorporated on the handset’s display. This device is fitted with a 16MP sensor to capture good selfies. The front camera takes an amazing shot in daylight but struggles a little in the low-light environment. Meanwhile, the rear camera packs 16MP + 5MP dual camera. Our testing showed that the rear camera performs reasonably well including Portrait shot.
