Nokia has already unveiled the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, along with the brand new Nokia 8. HMD Global, the Finnish corporation that is responsible for manufacturing Nokia phones, has decided to roll out the popular budget phone Nokia 2 today. The brand new phone was unveiled at an event in New Delhi.
The device has rolled out at a global price of 99 Euros (approximately 7499 INR). The device will be available in markets for purchase from mid-November. Undoubtedly, Nokia mobiles are known for its robust structure and their battery life. The Finnish company claims that the Nokia 2 can store its juice up to 2 days on a single charge. The device will come equipped with Google Assistant.
Nokia 2: Specifications
The mobile phone is fueled by a Snapdragon 212 processor. This processor is a descendant to Snapdragon 210. The device also sports an ARM Cortex A7 quad-core SoC, which can be clocked at up to 1.3GHz. It houses 1GB of RAM.
The internal storage provided by Nokia 2 is 8GB, which can further be expanded using a micro SD card. The mobile sports a 5-inch 720p HD of display screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection purposes.
Coming to the camera bit, the rear camera is 8MP, whereas the front camera is 5MP. This latest device comes equipped with Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. Furthermore, it is also confirmed to get an update to Android 8.0 Oreo soon enough. Coming to the battery aspect, Nokia 2 is fueled by a 4,100mAh. And the company claims that the battery can last up to 2 days on a single charge.
The Nokia 2 has been unveiled at a price tag of 99 Euros globally, which sums around 7499 INR. So, the company may price the device around 7400 INR in India.
Furthermore, HMD Global has rolled out four different devices in India. It has launched Nokia 3 priced at 9,499 INR. The company launched Nokia 5 at 12,499 INR. It also launched Nokia at 14,999 INR. Finally, the latest Nokia 8 retails at 36,999 INR.
