The much awaited successor to the Note II was launched at IFA 2013 in Berlin, along with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. Both these gadgets are now available for pre-order on Samsung’s official Indian e-store.
Samsung haven’t mentioned the price yet, but interested parties can pay Rs 2,000 to pre-book the devices. They can pay the rest of the amount when the devices are available.
Galaxy Gear will be available in Jet Black, Mocha Gray, Wild Orange, Oatmeal Beige, Rose Gold, and Lime Green while Galaxy Note 3 in Jet Black, Classic White, and Blush. Both the devices are set to launch starting from September 25 in more than 140 countries around the world. A Galaxy Gear user can make calls, display messages, record videos and snap photos with its 1.9 megapixel camera. The smartwatch has a 1.63-inch OLED display.
The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean based Galaxy Note 3 has a 5.7-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display. The LTE-variant is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, and the 3G (HSDPA) version is powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core Exynos processor. They are equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera alongside a 2-megapixel front camera. The device comes with 3,200mAh battery.
