LG recently launched its flagship phone LG G6 at Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. LG G6 replaced the previous year’s LG G5 which was not very successful. LG G6 was launched in India in April at 55,000 INR. The company has now unveiled the latest mid-ranger LG Stylo 3 Plus. Currently, this smartphone is only available in the US. It can be purchased through T-Mobile on an equipment installment of $9 upfront and $9 monthly installment of 24 months. LG Stylo Plus 3 is also available for purchase at $225 (approx. 14,477 INR) in full. This smartphone will be made available at MetroPCS Stores around next month.
LG Stylo Plus sports a 5.70-inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution. It is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The internal storage capacity of this phone is 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM with an expandable option through microSD card. LG Stylo 3 Plus consists of a stylus called Pen Pop 2.0 that slides out of the top. The battery backup is 3,080mAh which supports fast charging, 14 hours talk time claim and 19 days standby time.
This smartphone has a lot of upgraded features than its predecessor LG Stylo 2 Plus with respect to the storage, software, and processor. The Stylo 3 Plus features a 5MP front camera for selfies and video chats and 13MP rear camera with LED flash and autofocus. It supports a single-SIM slot (Nano) and has connectivity options like Bluetooth, v4.2, NFC, 4G VoLTE support, GPS/AGPS, and Wi-Fi b/g/n.
The look of Stylo 3 Plus is very stylish as it sports a sleek metal frame with a removable battery and back cover. LG Stylo 3 Plus has a fingerprint scanner at the back just below the camera. It has a Micro-USB port, 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom and the volume controller is on the left edge. This handset measures 6.13 x 3.14 x 0.29 inches and weighs 5.29 ounces.
