Super Thin Delight

In recent years, laptops have been getting slimmer with skinny screen bezel and perform tasks similar to the powerful desktop setup. Edge to Edge glass not only looks good but also takes up less space. The aluminium body lenovo yoga 720makes it looks gorgeous and feels like a high-end machine. For sounds, it has two speakers on the back featuring JBL speakers and Dolby premium audio technology to provide loud and incredible sound. Keyboard are fully backlit and looks quite compact as it squeeze to fit inside a 13-inch Lenovo Yoga 720. The trackpad below the keyboard is really nice and it’s very responsive to track finger gestures, they also added a fingerprint scanner below the keyboard to quickly login to your Windows Operating system. The laptop can also convert to Tablet mode by rotating the display to 180-degrees. Speaking of ports, it includes a single USB, a 3.5mm Headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.

Now talking about the performance, the Yoga 720 model squeezes in a 7th-generation Kaby Lake i7 processor and backs it up with 8GB of RAM. The new Intel Core i7 processor is very fast and performs every task with ease, even multi-tasking are handle smoothly by yoga 720 which was quite surprising considering the size of the laptop. Read and Write speed is also better because it packed with faster PCIe SSD’s, that means opening large files are faster on this ultrabook. The Intel HD Graphics 620 on Yoga 720 perform similarly to the last gen Intel HD 520, which is not impressive. So, better stay away from Gaming on Yoga 720.

What’s your final thought?

Overall, I can say Lenovo really did a good job by bringing it down to just 1.3kg. Packing with a beautifully designed aluminium case, powerful Intel core i7 7th generation processor for performance, it ticks all the right boxes. But there are few cons including an average display and lack of necessary ports.
