The Lenovo K8 Plus has finally been launched. We can now take a look at the latest smartphone of the company’s new K8 series. The handset comes equipped with dual rear cameras, which has a 13-megapixel Purcell sensor and 5-megapixel depth sensor to deliver a bokeh effect. The front camera is 8-megapixel along with the 5-element lens, f/2.0 aperture. It also has a selfie flash, which is called Party Flash.
The K8 Plus comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD IPS screen. It also has 178-degree viewing angles with 450 nits of brightness. The system is powered by Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. Some of the notable features of the phone’s software include a multi-window. The device comes with 3GB RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage, and a microSD card support that can be extended up to 128GB (dedicated slot). It also has a dual SIM support and USB OTG. The back of the phone sports an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor.
The new K8 Plus features Dolby Atmos audio enhancements. It has a Music Key on the left edge. This Key can be remapped to other apps, such as WhatsApp or Facebook, for quicker access as well. The phone will also support virtual reality videos with compatible headsets as well. The K8 Plus is fed by a 4000mAh battery that the company claims will deliver two days of juice. This includes up to 13 hours of web browsing and 100 hours of music playback.
Lenovo K8 Plus: Discounts and Details
The Lenovo K8 Plus in India is priced at 10,999 INR for the variant with 32GB storage and 3GB RAM, respectively. The handset is a Flipkart exclusive. It will go on sale on from Thursday at 12 pm IST. It will have a BuyBack guarantee for six months. Launch offers with the handset will provide you with Moto Pulse 2 headphones at 599 INR (instead of the standard price tag of 1,599 INR). You can also avail up to 10,000 INR discount on the exchange of the old smartphone, along with 30GB additional data from Jio. You can also avail a 100 INR discount on the Flipkart SmartBuy 5W Bluetooth speaker, with extra 15 percent off on fashion and lifestyle products on September 7 and 8, respectably.
Lenovo also said that it will launch another model – named Lenovo K8 – via offline stores in the coming few weeks. This device will be similar to the new K8 Plus, but the device will have a single 13-megapixel rear camera. It will also have a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek P20 processor.
