The Asus Zenfone Max was first announced in 2016. It is supposed to have an enormous 5000 mAh battery. The Max mobile wasn’t capable of featuring such an amazing design even when it was launched in the year 2016. It looks like Asus made a note of the fact about a flawed design. So, now the company has released the Zenfone Max Plus (M1). It has an 18:9 display aspect ratio. The screen almost brings in the ‘near bezel-less fashion of 2017.
The Zenfone Max Plus (M1) brags about a 4,130 mAh battery. It also uses the ‘accelerated charging’ functionality. The phone offers a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display. And it comes with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. As per some popular reports, the company claims that the battery is capable of offering up to 13 hours of video playback time.
The handset stores a MediaTek 6750T chipset. It has eight Cortex A53 cores that are built using older 28-nm manufacturing process. This is what Asus earlier used for its Zenfone 3s Max. The Zenfone Max Plus (M1) will be available in two models: 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB of internal storage. The second one offers 3 GB RAM along with 32 GB of inside storage. The company has attached microSD card slot too with a dual-SIM slot in the device.
Coming to the camera specifications now, the Asus Zenfone Max Plus obviously features a dual-camera setup on the back panel. This dual camera uses a combination of a 16MP sensor and an 8 MP wide-angle lens. Coming to the front aspect of the phone, the M1 features an 8 MP front camera for selfies. It also sports functions like face unlocking and many more.
The mobile phone will most probably run on Android Nougat 7.O with Asus’ Zen UI 4.0. The company has not yet disclosed any details on the availability and price of the smartphone.
