Intel Core i9 Processor has been rolled out for laptops. It was announced for desktops last year and now making its way to the laptops.

Intel Core i9 Processor with up to 4.8GHz turbo boost speed has been launched for laptops. According to a statement by Intel, the new 8th Gen Intel Core i9, i7, and i5 processors for laptops are based on the Coffee Lake platform. Not only this, Intel has also announced Intel 300 Series Chipset, that adds integrated Gigabit Wi-Fi for fast connection. The Intel Core i9 Processor delivers best gaming and content creation experience on the go. It was launched for desktops last year, and now making its way to the laptops.

The top model of the latest Intel range is the Intel Core i9-8950HK. This model claims to max out a record processor speed of up to 4.8GHz along with turbo boost. Furthermore, this is the very first mobile processor evr built by Intel for featuring six cores and 12 threads. Along with this, Intel also rolled out Intel Core i7 and Core i5 Coffee Lake processors for laptops built on 14-nanometre architecture.

Besides claiming that it is the highest performing laptop processor the company has ever built, Intel also unveiled a new Intel Core platform extension that brings together the benefits of 8th Generation Intel Core processors with Intel Optane memory under Intel Core i9+, Core i7+, and Core i5+ badges. Further, Intel even showcased high-performance desktop CPUs and chipsets delivering modern standby and ambient computing capabilities and shared latest details on the 8th Gen Intel Core vPro hardware.

The processors of the desktop delivers up to 41 percent more frames per second in gameplay or edit 4K video up to 59 percent faster than the previous generation with same discrete graphics. The 8th Gen Intel Core i9-8950HK processor give users the ability for enjoying the smoothest and highest-quality mobile VR and new Windows Mixed Reality Ultra experiences. As we already mentioned, Intel has also announced Intel 300 Series Chipset, that adds integrated Gigabit Wi-Fi for fast connection.
