Apple has 766 suppliers out of which China has 346, Japan has 126 and the US has 69. Now, there is one in India as well, a unit of Flextronics in Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu. The US, China, and Ireland are where the final assembly of Apple Mac takes place whereas China is the sole assembly location for Apple iPod. These days, India is becoming important for Apple because of the growing market and sales. Almost 3 million units were sold last year which sums up to the annual sale of $1.5 Billion. However, we still need to know the cost of Indian Made Apple iPhone SE but it would be definitely cheaper than the US model.
