The Chinese mobile manufacturers are highly credited for their ability to squeeze in the latest features at a passable price for its audience. Moreover, after the recent Q3 earnings report by Huawei, the parent company of the Honor, it is not surprising how price plays a major role in strengthening the position of these Chinese mobile manufacturers in a competitive market like India. The first impression of the Honor Play directly reflects how the phone was made for the gamer who is enthusiastic about getting a modern and updated gaming smartphone without creating a dent in their bank balance.

The Honor Play has  GPU Turbo, Kirin970 with AI Processor meant to provide the best  4D Gaming Experience. The Honor Play is perhaps the first phone meant to provide 4D gaming experience. Besides the processor, the Honor Play has a battery of 3,750mAh battery supported by fast charging, a feature we were all looking forward to.

In terms of Camera, Honor has introduced AI technology incorporated in the camera which can identify the background scene and accordingly adjust the settings required to capture the perfect shot.  The Honor play has a dual rear camera of 16+ 2 MP along with a front camera of a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture which supports face unlock.
