The first thing that one would notice about the 10 Lite is its colour gradient design on the back which gives it an elegant finish and in my honest opinion looks best in the Sky Blue colour which they offer as compared to the Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue. We all know that the market’s booming with all sorts of notch designs and the 10 Lite features a teardrop notch with 19.5:1 aspect ratio and 2340×1080 FHD resolution. The one thing which still cannot be avoided is that its back is a fingerprint magnet but Honor’s taken care of that by providing a free case cover inside the box. Talking about fingerprint, the fingerprint sensor is rear mounted and it is quite responsive too. Honor’s definitely hit the ball out of the park in terms of design!
I spent a lot of my time testing the performance of the phone as I was waiting for it to heat up, but to my surprise, this phone just didn’t heat up even after playing heavy games like PUBG Mobile, Asphalt Xtreme, and CSR Racing. My best experience was playing PUBG Mobile as it didn’t lag even after switching the settings to HD. The Kirin 710 octa-core processor does offer great performance along with the graphics provided by the Mali-G51 GPU. The 6GB RAM optimizes the apps running in the background and yet there was no lag noticed. The 4GB variant is equally amazing unless there’s heavy multitasking in the background. The 3400mAh battery does last a day on average usage but lacks a type-C connector. Nevertheless, the phone could still charge up quickly. Android 9 out of the box and EMUI 9’s minimalist features are just the icings on the cake.
AI being offered at this price is just amazing but still lagged behind in camera performance as the picture was too artificial for my liking. The front camera has a 24MP shooter that has a clean interface if you are someone who likes taking photos in manual mode. Low light picture quality is above average and the rear camera performs exceptionally well in dim lightings. The front and rear cameras, both have portrait mode. It misses out on blurring some parts of the image even after focusing. However, the normal mode pictures come out better without the AI. It would have been better if there would have been 4K recording in it, apart from that the video quality is above average.

Under ₹20,000 the Honor 10 lite has features that are value for money and is easily the best looking phone out there in that range. Also, with Android 9.0 out of the box and 6GB of RAM, it can hold its own on high-end games and one should definitely consider the 10 Lite if they are a bit tight on budget.
