On Thursday, 20 November 2017, Xiaomi will unveil a new Redmi phone. This mobile is called “Desh Ka Smartphone”. The company acclaims that the mobile will come at an ultra-economic price. The device will be exclusively available on Flipkart. Since the company is all set to expand its offline presence, the forthcoming Redmi mobile maybe available through offline sales channels like Xiaomi’s Mi Home stores.
Flipkart has gone live with its official page hinting for this new Redmi phone. No hardware specifics as such are shared of for the given phone. The only thing that everyone is sure about the phone is that it will have a long-lasting battery, which is applicable to all Xiaomi mobiles. Since the mobile is a Redmi phone, we can definitely expect it to be priced less than 10,000 INR.
Redmi 5A: Specs
Since Xiaomi is highly emphasizing the battery aspect of this Redmi mobile, we can hope that the supposed device could possibly be the Redmi 5A. The Redmi 5A has already been launched in China in October. It is also a base-level mobile. The main USP of the device is that it can offer up to 8-days of battery life.
The Redmi 5A is the replacement of the Redmi 4A. 5A preserves a lot of 4A’s hardware set along with its affordable price tag. The Redmi 5A costs CNY 599 (roughly 6,000 INR) in China.
