LOOKS & DESIGN
Comio C2 is a successor of C1 which was launched a few months ago. The C2 offers an improvement over hardware and design with a small bump in price. The design of the phone looks similar with minor improvement, but the device looks way to fatty according to current standards. The thickness of the device at 9.9mm might turn you off but take a little more time and you might get convinced. The texture make the device less slippery and comfortable to hold with one hand.
On the front, the device is covered with 5-inch High Definition display which offers decent sharpness and colour contrast. It also has capacitive buttons instead of on-screen ones, but this one is not backlit. Therefore it is little bit harder to use at night or in low light environment. Talking about performance, the device is powered by a quad-core MTK6737 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded via a microSD card. The device is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and the performance is quite sluggish and slow to respond. It was due to low-end specs packed into this device. The connectivity options in both the phones support 4G VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, microUSB, and Bluetooth. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Comio C2 packs an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the rear, it can take some good pictures but struggles in Lowlight. The 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
Overall, C2 is a better phone at given price point, but you will have to compromise with a performance. We would rather suggest Xiaomi Redmi 5A as an alternative.
