Another budget smartphone under ₹ 10,000 launched by Micromax before the year ends. The Micromax Infinity N-Series features the N11 and N12 smartphones which were launched on December 18, 2018. This year we have seen Chinese brands launching smartphones at a competitive price packed with a lot of features. Has Micromax joined the party as well or will it just go unnoticed?
Micromax is offering both N11 and N12 with a 6.19 inches display screen, resolution 720×1500 pixels, 18.9:9 aspect ratio, and a notch display which houses the front camera setup. The front camera for the N11 will shoot selfies and record videos with its 8-megapixel frontal sensor, and for the N12 it will have a 16-megapixel frontal sensor. The main camera for both N11 and N12 will have dual rear camera setups offering a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. A MediaTek Helio P22 SoC clocked at 2GHz.
It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and Micromax has promised to provide Android Pie upgrade within two months’ time. N11 and N12 will have 2GB and 3GB of RAM respectively and 32GB of internal memory with a dedicated slot for external memory. Other features that are shared between them are the fingerprint sensor mounted at the rear and Face Unlock support as well. Also, both the phone offers different sensors like accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. Other common features in the communication sector include G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS connectivity, the standard Micro-USB cable, and a conventional 3.5mm headphone jack. To power all of this it comes with equipped with a 4,000mAh battery.
Micromax has priced these phones at a reasonable price, the Infinity N11 at ₹ 8,999 and the N12 at ₹ 9,999.
