One of the most popular state-run telecom firm called BSNL has started a corporate email service for 1 INR per day. This service has been started from 8 September 2017 in partnership with a Jaipur-based company called Data Infosys.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) had previously declared in a statement that it has started providing all its customers “email services in order to ensure the privacy and security of their data”.
All the BSNL customers will finally be capable of availing the service. This service will be linked to their official websites for a yearly fee of just 365 INR. This price is based on per e-mail ID with 1GB storage. 999 INR will be charged on a single e-mail ID with 10 gigabytes of storage.

All the enterprise e-mail accounts will come with security tools and dual authentication that will make them hacker-free e-mail accounts, the statement said.
“The payment will have to be made once in a year. The effective price of the service starts for Re 1 per day with 1 GB storage. For usage beyond 10 GB, customers can buy extra 5 GB storage for an annual payment of Rs 500,” stated Ajay Data, who is the CEO of Data Infosys.
The state-run firm highlighted “privacy” as key to its e-mail service.
“Our e-mail offering is very secured and e-mails are not scanned like other e-mail hosting players. E-mail solution does not allow anyone including e-mail administrator to monitor/look into any e-mail account. Entire e-mail solution is hosted in BSNL Network, giving lawful rights and access speed at its best,” declared NK Mehta. Mehta is the BSNL Director for Enterprise Business.
This e-mail service, which is provided by BSNL, will also have a mobile app version so that people using smartphones can access it as well.
