 Bhavish has been the recipient of many awards and accolades in the past such as ‘The Disruptor of the Year’ at the CNBC Asia Business Leader Awards 2017 and was also featured in the Forbes India list of 30 under 30.

Bhavish started Ola (formerly Olacabs) – India’s most popular mobile app for personal transportation – in 2010 along with his batch mate, Ankit Bhati, with a mission to build mobility for a billion Indians. With presence in over 110 cities, Bhavish has propelled Ola to become one of India’s most valuable and respected startups in a short span of time. Prior to starting Ola, he worked with Microsoft Research for two years during which he filed 2 patents and published 3 papers in International journals. Bhavish has been the recipient of many awards and accolades in the past such as ‘The Disruptor of the Year’ at the CNBC Asia Business Leader Awards 2017 and was also featured in the Forbes India list of 30 under 30. He also stays true to his startup and his belief for the need to consume transportation on demand and as a service. For the same, Bhavish doesn’t own a car himself and vows that he never will.
