These plans are actually professed as Airtel’s attempt to protect its user base from Reliance Jio. The newcomer Jio has brought a pricing upheaval in the telecom industry. Jio did this with its ultra-low cost data and free voice call offerings.

Airtel versus Jio: 399 INR Plan

Airtel provides 1 GB data per day at 4G speed. It also offers unlimited local and STD calls. This plan is a counter plan against Jio’s 399 INR plan. This plan offers unlimited local and STD calls, with 1 GB data per day for 84 days. However, the 399 INR recharge plan of Airtel is offered to selective customers only. Whereas Jio’s scheme is open for all.

Airtel versus Jio: 349 INR Plan

Airtel is providing unlimited local and STD calls along with 28 GB data (1GB/day) for 28 days under. All this at the price tag of 349 INR. This plan is aimed to counter Jio’s 349 INR recharge plan. Jio in this amount offers unlimited local and STD calls along with 20 GB data for a whopping 56 days. Nevertheless, there is no daily limit on consuming data in Jio’s 349 INR plan. The customer can use the entire 20 GB data in one day. Otherwise, the user can use this data over the 56 days as per the requirement.

Airtel versus Jio: 149 INR Plan

The 149 INR scheme of Airtel provides unlimited Airtel to Airtel calls. It also provides 2GB data at 4G speed, which will be valid for 28 days validity. Jio’s INR 149 pack offers unlimited local and STD calls to any mobile or landline across India. It also provides 2 GB data for 28 days.
